NFL Week 1 Monkey Knife Fight Touchdown Dance

The Bills and the Rams are facing each other to kick off the NFL season on Thursday Night Football.  It’s time to play the touchdown dance.  This is a contest that is run over on Monkey Knife Fight * use the promo code GOBFF

The folks in Vegas think this will be a reasonably high scoring affair with a projected point total of 52 to 53 points.  They also think the Bills will win this game by 3 points.  These numbers give a good base line to go off of.  This puts this game in a 28 to 25 Bills win scenario based off of these projected assumptions the folks in Vegas are making.

This kind of point total would project 6 to 7 touchdowns being scored.  Here are the players I’m looking to score TDs in this game.  The 5 zone is the area when the ball is snapped inside the 5 yard line going into the end-zone.

Cooper Kupp Touchdown Dance

Cooper Kupp a fantasy scoring machine last year and still Matthew Stafford’s favorite target. Kupp was targeted 10 times in the 5 zone and put up 5 TDs in these close yardage shots. The Rams passed the ball 63% of the time in these goal line opportunities and Kupp was the most heavily targeted player.

Gabriel Davis Touchdown Dance

Gabe Davis could this be the year for a full breakout not going to call that shot here, but will call for a TD from Gabe Davis in this matchup. Stefon Diggs will draw the first coverage from the Rams. The Bills threw the ball 55% of the time inside the 5 zone with WRs being the most heavily targeted group in this part of the field. Gabe Davis tied with Diggs for most targets in the 5 zone and tied for most TDs in this area as well.

As much as I would love to call for a RB to put up a TD in this one, the Rams lean on the pass down inside the 5 zone and Josh Allen is just as likely to take off with the ball as a RB for Buffalo is to rush it.  So it’s time to look at pass catchers again.

Jamison Crowder Touchdown Dance

Jamison Crowder the overlooked guy in this Bills offense, Jamison Crowder fits the mold for what the Bills have utilized Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley for the last couple of seasons. Crowder will see the least aggressive coverage from the Rams. PPR machine and lives off of short passes and finding seams in the defense, perfect for 5 zone opportunities.

Touchdown Dance Prize Call

This game should be a great one to start the NFL season.  I’m going to call for these players to score greater than 2.5 TDs combined in this game and over on Monkey Knife Fight playing these players and greater than 2.5 TDs will get a 2x prize in this Daily Fantasy Contest.
